Solar roof HELLO Carwash, Capelle a/d IJssel

The Netherlands' largest car wash invests in sustainable solar energy and a livable future!

After the opening of the HELLO Carwash in Capelle a/d IJssel, the entire roof was covered with a solar energy system.
Meanwhile, 182,727 kg of CO2 emissions have already been avoided through local energy generation. This is equivalent to 5,454 trees planted.

A high-quality solar roof featuring 1,168 Canadian Solar 365 Wp solar panels (total installed capacity: 426,320 Wp) andSolarEdge Technologies inverters. The roof is installed using a FlatFix Fusion lightweight mounting system. The expected annual solar energy generation in year 1 totals approximately 370,982 kWh.

An SDE++ grant from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) was obtained for the installation of this solar roof.

The solar system is owned by Dutch Renewergy SUN3 B.V. (SUN3) part of Cooperative Dutch Renewergy (part AMSTELIUS Green Building Group). The solar roof will be managed and operated on an ESCo basis for 16 years.
