In early 2017, Dutch Renewergy installed a solar park consisting of 246 solar panels on the roof of the Planetarium in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Dutch Renewergy partnered with ZonnepanelenDelen for this project. The required funding of €73,350 was fully crowdfunded through ZonnepanelenDelen in a record time of just over one hour.

Dutch Renewergy takes care of everything for the building owner when it comes to the installation and operation of the solar power system. We develop, finance, install, operate, insure, and maintain the solar power system for a term of at least 15 years. By making smart use of an ESCo, Dutch Renewergy has been able to cover the cost of leasing the solar power system through the savings on conventional energy. Solar energy offers a number of benefits for the building owner. One example is that the building owner contributes to lower CO2 emissions in this way. The building owner also becomes less dependent on the use and price fluctuations of fossil fuels.
